If you're wondering what can be grown during the summer in SoCal, you came to the right place! We're currently growing: zucchini, tomatoes, green beans, pumpkins, lettuce, potatoes, peppers, tomatillos, butternut squash, cucumbers, carrots.
My fiance Vince has the best green thumb out of anyone I know. Gardening has become a fun activity that we get to do together every Saturday morning. There is nothing better than growing your own food, putting your hands in some soil and spending time outside together.
Our entire front yard has been converted into a massive garden - with 3 zucchini plants and a whopping 17 pumpkins taking over! Here are a few pictures of our garden harvests over the last few weeks:

As you can see below there are two main growing seasons-- warm and cool. We're currently in the warm season; soon we'll be planing beets and my favorite- broccoli!
